What features are included with my monthly plan?

The Press8 pricing plans include all of our core features as well at least 1 local number and unlimited long distance (except on the Lite Plan which is a per minute charge).

What Does a Line/User Mean?

With each Line/User you get 3 things:

  1. A dedicated phone line for incoming/outgoing calls
  2. A voice mail box
  3. Login credientials to the web portal

Normally you will need 1 Line/User for each of your employees. The only exception would be an employee whose calls are only forwarded to their cell phone. In that case, that employee could get a Virtual Extension at just $9.99/mo. Or, if you have a phone in a waiting room or a break room, you could get an Auxillary Extension at just $4.99/mo.

If you ever get more calls than you have Lines/Users (for example if you have a call queue), you will be charged 4.9¢/min. for that call.

What is a Call Queue and How is it Different from a Hunt Group?

ACD Queues are considered intelligent call routing programs. When a call comes into an ACD Queue it is routed to the agent who has taken the least calls, plays music on hold, can announce the number of callers in the queue, and more. Hunt Groups simply ring a group of numbers simultaneously or in sequence with music while on hold but doesn't have any other intelligent routing capabilities.

How Many Attendees on a Conference Bridge?

You can have as many attendees as you want for any of your conference calls you have using your conference bridge.
