Big Businesses Versus Small Businesses and Customer Care

If you have a blog or website and a customer has an inquiry do you immediately respond to it? Many companies are failing to do this. More often big businesses may ignore a customer’s inquiry or take a long time to answer whereas small businesses usually reply within minutes.

You may have your website to make life easier for your customers. Your website may have an area where customers can request an appointment along with some of your products. For example, if a customer was to request an appointment at a garage for an oil change, new tires, possible new transmission and a check up. You, as a company, ignore this request. The customer needs his/her work done on the vehicle quickly. Since you have not replied to the customer he/she finds another garage to do the work for him/her. This is a major problem as you have lost hundreds, if not thousands of dollars.

Smoking Hot Referral Tips!

Referrals are a way to build your business. You need to know how to get referrals easily so you can start to build a name for your small or medium business. Smoking hot referral tips include:

1) With your current customers give them fantastic service. Make sure they are extremely happy. Once you have given your customers high quality service, THEN ask for referrals.

2) Give your customers a reward system. If your customers do business with you or give you three to five referrals that use your services/products, reward your customers. You may want to give them a discount on a service or product.

How to Get More Business Referrals

There are a few intriguing ways to get more business referrals for your company. The first thing you want to do is always thank your customers. When you send your customers a thank you card after doing business with them, send 4 extra post cards that are already stamped. This is a fantastic way to get more referrals for your business. The reason this works is:

A) The customers will send your business cards to businesses they know.
B) Since the customers and potential customers know each other they are sure to trust your business referral.
C) This idea is better than handing out business cards due to the fact that someone else has referred you due to your exceptional work.
