2. Choose a phone number.
Whether you want a local telephone
number, a toll free number, or to port an existing number, a telephone number
is available to you within our signup order form. *
3. Equip your new phone system with hardware.
Press8 provides
an array of telephones and accessories for your phone system, ranging
from IP telephones, to analog telephone adapters, to headsets! We make it
easy by allowing you to purchase hardware directly from your Control Panel,
and we'll even pre-configure the device(s) before delivery. Have your own
hardware? No problem! We recommend that you contact us
first to ensure your devices are compatible, however.
4. Setup your emergency calling address.
Safety first!
By associating a physical address with your telephone number(s), you
can be assured that in the case of an emergency (911 call), your
local emergency response personnel will instantly know your physical location
without needing to ask. This is done directly from your Press8 Control Panel.
5. Start customizing your phone system.
Using your Press8
Control Panel, you can begin creating telephone extensions, voicemail
boxes, recording your greeting messages, and virtually any other
aspect of your phone system. We have a wealth of information to make
it even easier, including a user guide, FAQs, and a knowledge base.
